Principal, Jasmax
Nick Moyes joined Jasmax in 2004 and has been a Principal and Jasmax Director in the Auckland office since 2012. Nick has broad international experience in North America, Europe and Asia with a variety of typologies and scales.
A multiple award-winning architect, Nick’s project experience is eclectic and exceptional. He has worked on masterplanning cities in China, to boutique offices in North America. Nick is drawn to projects that help communicate and define the strategic objectives of clients.
Nick’s extensive experience has led to a strong understanding of the design and delivery of complex and large-scale projects across Mixed-Use, Commercial, Aviation, Pharmaceutical and Research projects. With a passion for sustainable design, his buildings often break paradigms. From the design of New Zealand’s first NZGBC 5 Star rated project, NZI Centre (base build and interiors) in 2009, to the passive ground source heat exchange system in APL’s Hamilton Factory. This design thinking generates long-term, multi-generational architecture, and is born from challenging collaborative work with clients to overcome perceived obstacles.
