Nicolai Richter-Friis has been employed at Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects since 2001 and was appointed partner in 2005. He has solid architectural experience with a stake in the larg- er part of Lundgaard & Tranberg’s won competitions. He has a special interest and compe- tencies within concept development within a large range of typologies ranging from cultural and educational buildings to headquarters, residential and master planning projects with a special focus on the integration into sensitive, historic urban environments. Nicolai’s skills have led to a number of important completed architectural projects that have shaped both Copenhagen and Denmark among these The Royal Danish Playhouse, the New Natural Histo- ry Museum of Denmark and the Tietgen Dormitory. Furthermore, Nicolai focuses on serving as client contact and as lead architect in the development of projects for private developers.
