Nishanth Vijayputra is the founder of Morphemy, a Hyderabad-based architecture and design practice that reflects his creative vision and strategic thinking. Founded in 2015 as a growing, dynamic and contemporary award-winning design practice, Morphemy works across typologies and scales in domains of architecture, urban design, planning and interior space design. Their portfolio of projects includes high-rise apartments, independent residences, research laboratories, office space architecture and interiors, and hospital spaces across Pan India, Shanghai, and Singapore. Under his leadership, the firm thrives on organisational intelligence, viewing architecture not merely as structures but as strategic additions to the built environment. His extensive professional experience spans multi-scale projects across typologies.
Nishanth embarked on his architectural journey at the National Institute of Technology, TN, India, where he earned his Bachelor of Architecture in 2009. Subsequently, he pursued a Master of Architecture and Urbanism at the Architectural Association, London, UK, in 2013. His academic exploration continued with a program at Harvard Business School, USA, focusing on Leading Professional Services Firms in 2021 and in 2023, he obtained a Master of Business in Architecture and Design from IE University, Madrid, Spain, showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and global perspectives.
