Head of Design, Focchi
Paolo Ermeti is Head of Design at Focchi S.p.A., with nearly 30 years of experience in façade engineering and project leadership. A Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Bologna, he joined the company in 1998 and has since contributed to the delivery of complex façade systems across major international markets, particularly in the UK.
He has led multidisciplinary design teams on high-profile developments including 70 St Mary Axe, 40 Leadenhall Street, Deansgate Square, and the Isozaki Tower.
In his current role, he defines technical strategy, strengthens design processes, and promotes innovation in façade engineering, with a strong focus on performance, buildability, and integrated project delivery.
