Patrick Genard obtained the title of Civil Engineer and Architect from the University UCL of Louvain, Belgium. In 1978, at the “Taller de Arquitectura” workshop of Ricardo Bofill he worked as Director of Project Design in several continents like the « World Project » in Tokyo or « Twin Center » in Casablanca. In 1994, he created his studio of architecture, town planning and interior architecture in Barcelona. Then, with an international and multidisciplinary team, he planned and built buildings like the new headquarters of “EITB” in Bilbao, the “Belgian Pavilion” in Milan, the “Imagina Audiovisual Center 22 @” as well as residential projects in Morocco like Bouznika Bay, in addition to high-class single-family residences. The big stores Sephora and Grand Optical in Spain and Novotel hotels in Casablanca, Valencia, Madrid, Bilbao and Barcelona.
As of now, he has completed several hotels including Club Med Don Miguel in Marbella, Marriott Hotel in Rabat, Le Rivoli in Casablanca, Club Med Opio and Club Med Kemer. He has also completed the “Sofitel Hotel” in Casablanca, the “Complexe hôtelier Quemado”, the “Souani Mediterranée Resort”, a tourist complex for “Nouvelles Frontières” near Marrakesh, as also a boutique hotel for “Baglioni” and the Cegelec – Vinci headquarters in Casablanca.
