Founder, Patrick Ryan Associates
Patrick is a façade engineering consultant with 35 years’ experience in the façade industry. He launched Patrick Ryan Associates 25 years ago and prior to that he, ran a façade consultancy within a well-known multidisciplinary practice for 10 years. Patrick has successfully carried out façade engineering consultancy and design on several iconic buildings including the Burj Al Arab and the Jumeira Beach Hotel in Dubai, and more recently two of the tallest modular buildings in the world, 10 Degrees and College Road, situated in Croydon, London. Patrick has a passion for good façade design which is sustainable, high on quality and most importantly complies with a moving landscape of legislation and regulation. He regularly speaks at or chairs conferences and seminars and has served as a director of the CWCT. Patrick is currently a long-standing board member of the Society of Façade Engineering responsible for the Professional Indemnity Insurance working group. In his spare time Patrick enjoys cycling, making music and photography.
