Principal | Europe Practice Leader, SOM
Peter is the practice leader for SOM’s work in Europe and contributes to industry-wide dialogue through his work with the ULI in Europe and as former chair of the RIBA’s Large Practice Expert Group.
He enjoys solving complex problems with elegant solutions. His projects are defined by a design-focused approach that comes from Peter’s instinctive sense that architects have a responsibility to create outstanding places that leave a positive and lasting impact on the world. His interest in tall buildings and large complicated sites has led him to work on projects across Europe and Asia managing Master Planning, Architecture and Structures.
Some of Peter’s recent projects include 100 Leadenhall Street, in the City of London, New Covent Garden Market, at Nine Elms, Karlatornet, Gothenburg’s tallest tower and currently in construction, Arena Tower, Istanbul Tower, Harrow Square and Nine Elms Square.
