Schmitt brings more than a decade of experience in passive fire protection across both land-based and marine sectors, with a current focus on the building envelope.
He works closely with architects, façade consultants, contractors, and developers, guiding project teams through fire testing, certification, regulatory compliance and system performance considerations to achieve robust, code-compliant solutions. In addition to design-stage and specification support, Schmitt provides hands-on technical services in the field, including training, mock-up installations and on-site inspections.
This direct involvement ensures systems are installed correctly and perform as intended, reinforcing Siderise’s commitment to life safety, technical excellence and long-term façade performance.
