Philip Ra is a talented design leader with over 33 years of experience, guiding projects from conceptual design through completion. His passion for design and digital technology has led him to become an innovator in the use of digital media and design.
Philip brings a strong academic background in architecture, along with diverse experience in architectural design, allowing him to effectively solve complex design challenges. He leads the Flad design studio in San Francisco on projects throughout California and the West Coast.
Philip has taught, served on juries, and lectured at UC Berkeley, USC, Sci-Arc, Woodbury, Cal Poly, AAU, and CCA. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
