Pierce has over 25 years’ experience in the architecture and construction industry. He is associate and senior architectural technologist at O’Mahony Pike Architects. He has worked with architectural practices in Galway, London, and Dublin with extensive experience on a wide range of project types including commercial, industrial, educational, residential, retail, office, hospitality, and mixed-use schemes. Recent projects include Capital Dock.

Managing team production of tender and construction documentation. Administration of construction contracts including traditional form, design-build, management contract, and public sector procurement.

Experienced in researching, assessing, and developing building systems, off-site construction and MMC approaches for schemes. Advice and consultation on construction technology, building regulations, universal access, and sustainability.

As well as architectural technology Pierce also has post graduate qualifications and experiance in thermal bridge assessment, BIM, and NZEB and other energy assessment procedures.

Pierce also teaches part time in TU Dublin as studio tutor and lecturing in architectural technology.
