Technical Director at NEUF architect(e)s since 2021, Rainier Silva brings over 20 years of experience in building technologies for large-scale and complex programs. After beginning his career in Venezuela in the corporate and residential sectors, he completed a Master’s in Architecture at McGill University before joining NEUF. He now oversees the coordination of studies and construction work for major public and private projects at both the municipal and provincial levels.
Organized and detail-oriented, Rainier leads multidisciplinary teams of dozens of specialists through tight schedules, from permitting to final delivery. Among his key achievements: the Bombardier Aircraft Assembly Centre at Toronto Pearson International Airport, where he supervised the development of its distinctive translucent polycarbonate envelope. He is currently involved in the restoration of the curtain wall of the 600 De La Gauchetière tower and the rehabilitation of the facades of three landmark buildings on Montreal’s Place des Arts.
