Ramyo Dey is the General Manager (Planning & Design) with the Projects Team at Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL). With over 20 years of rich experience in building design, enclosure design and high-end interiors, he is currently leading the Architecture Department in the BIAL Projects Team. Throughout his professional career, he has been closely associated with the hospitality industry and has been involved in many renowned and landmark projects in Mumbai & Pune. St Regis Hotel (Mumbai), Grand Hyatt (Mumbai) and Conrad Hilton (Pune) are some of the few reputed projects where he has represented the Client.
He has also been involved in large scale infrastructure projects in the aviation sector in the US. As a part of the team in KTGY (Washington DC), he has worked extensively in Dulles Airport Project.
Currently at BIAL, he is overseeing the architectural design for the upcoming new Terminal 2 at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. Alongside the efforts to build a world class, sustainable & digitally advanced Airport Terminal at KIA, he and his team of architects at BIAL have also undertaken an ambitious endeavour in establishing a COBie based facility management BIM model for the new Terminal 2, which when realized would be a first in the aviation sector in SE Asia.
