Rawan has been integral to the station since 2014, contributing across its full lifecycle, from inception and design development at Zaha Hadid Architects to on-site construction phases, followed by testing, commissioning, and final operation. Over the years, she assumed increasing leadership responsibilities, directing multidisciplinary coordination, managing complex design interfaces, and ensuring the translation of ZHA’s advanced geometry into fully executable works across architecture and interiors.
Rawan’s experience reflects a mature career shaped by major infrastructure delivery, international collaboration, and advanced leadership development, including executive education at Harvard Business School. She is recognized for her long-standing contribution to one of Saudi Arabia’s most significant architectural and transportation landmarks, demonstrating both technical expertise and the evolution of her leadership over a decade on the project.
