
Senior Associate, Gensler
Reginald Truxon is a senior architectural leader with more than 18 years of experience delivering complex projects across the United States and internationally. A graduate of Hampton University with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, he began his career in the Washington, DC region, contributing to major master planning and mixed-use developments, including renowned destinations such as The Wharf. Reginald is a Senior Associate and Design Management Leader at Gensler, where over the past eight years he has supported hundreds of project managers across the firm’s Southeast region, spanning offices from Philadelphia to Miami. His diverse portfolio includes large-scale mixed-use developments, professional sports stadiums, residential and student housing, adaptive reuse projects, and high-performance office towers. Beyond project work, Reginald is deeply committed to strengthening firm culture, operational excellence, and inclusive leadership. He co-leads diversity and equity initiatives, mentors emerging designers, and previously served as President of the National Organization of Minority Architects DC chapter, helping advance a more equitable and resilient future for the design profession.
