Director, UHA
As Director of UHA since 2012, Ricardo is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the studio’s largest and most complex projects. With a detail-oriented approach, he specialises in complex design documentation, and ensuring seamless coordination, buildability, and ultimate delivery.
With over 30 years’ experience working on mixed-use and high-rise structures worldwide, Ricardo has delivered commercially successful projects across four continents, including Sadro Residencias in Puebla, Omkar 1973 Worli in Mumbai, and the Symbol Masterplan in Moscow.
Ricardo was instrumental in establishing UHA offices in Budapest, Lisbon and Mumbai, and is currently spearheading the studio’s first projects in the Middle East in Dubai, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
Before joining UHA, Ricardo collaborated with renowned international architects such as Santiago Calatrava, Rafael Vinoly Architects, and Foster + Partners, where he led a variety of large scale projects as Partner and Director of Foster + Partners Madrid.
