Richard Archbold

Principal, Warren and Mahoney

Richard, first joining the practice in 1999, rejoined the practice in 2010 having gained further professional experience in the UK. He is the Performance Lead for Warren and Mahoney’s Auckland studio and a Greenstar Practitioner. He also co-hosts the 76 Small Rooms architecture podcast, actively promoting the awareness and discussion of architecture in the public sphere.

Arch is an expert Project Architect and collaborator with extensive experience in the design and project management of residential, commercial and mixed-use built environments. The common characteristics of his projects are their complexity and their duration, case in point being his role as Project Architect for the highly anticipated New Zealand International Convention Centre currently under construction. With the aptitude to adapt across the evolving stages of a project, Arch applies strategy and skill to bring a design to life, to resolve technical components, and to deliver exceptional architectural outcomes for users, clients, and communities.
