Founding Principal, Green Façades
Richard Green is the Founding Principal of Green Facades, PLLC. His passion for design is enabled by his engineering expertise to assist some of the finest architects from around the world to fulfill their visions.
He has a long history of designing specialist glass systems, ranging from the Seattle Space Needle and Amazon Spheres to lobby systems and passive houses with floor to ceiling glass walls.
Green is the founding technical chair for the ASTM Structural Glass Committee and has had an advisory role to Eurocode EC11. He is a member of the technical committee for the American glass standard ASTM E1300. Green also represents the United States on International Organization for Standardization ISO as an ‘Expert’ for matters regarding strength and use of architectural glass.
