Rob Woodger

Principal Specialist Building Surveyor - Building Control, Auckland Council

Rob Woodger is a Principal Specialist Building Surveyor for Auckland Council.   His particular focus is the external envelope of buildings, including facades and their all-round performance and what effect and impact facades may have on the internal environment of buildings.

For over forty years Rob has been involved in the building industry the last twenty five years working within the building regulatory sector. With trade as well as academic experience and qualifications, he has developed into an exacting professional with a pragmatic approach to building control.

Rob has an excellent knowledge of building law, regulations and associated standards, and over the years he has been involved in effecting change to building practices within the industry and continues to strive to improve and work with the facade fraternity to promote awareness of regulatory and practical issues concerning facades.
