Director, Howells
Robert joined Glenn Howells Architects’ Birmingham office in the summer of 2015 to work on London City Island, a new residential neighbourhood in Tower Hamlets which delivered over 1,700 new homes and the new HQ for English National Ballet.
Robert has recently led the design and delivery of Birmingham’s tallest residential tower in The Mercian which is a PRS building for Moda Living. He also recently led a consultation and visioning exercise for local stakeholders and developers with HS2 which explores opportunities for commercialisation of HS2- owned land.
Robert studied at the University of Westminster in 2010 and qualified as an Architect in 2012. Rob was made an Associate in 2018 and a Director in 2022. He has a keen interest in the future of housing and the developments of new neighbourhoods and regeneration of our cities.
