Rok Lee, AIA, leads DeSimone’s global façade and building envelope practice, which includes façade design, restoration and forensics. He provides invaluable insight to DeSimone’s structural engineering and forensic consulting teams across project types, employing his expertise for new façade design, re cladding and over-cladding, existing façade assessment, building physics, thermal and condensation assessment, custom curtain wall system design and engineering, expert witness services, and forensic investigation.
Rok’s recent façade and building envelope projects include the award-winning, undulating MSC Cruise Terminal in PortMiami, the award-winning—and resilient—420 Carroll Street residential tower along Brooklyn’s Gowanus Canal, and the distinctive aluminum-and-terra cotta façade featuring arched windows for 520 Fifth Avenue in NYC, a supertall in Manhattan nearing completion.
