Samir Chandaria is the Chairman of SC Group. Skills acquired include self-motivation, team player, work towards team building and attain leadership, communication skills and computer literacy. With diversified accounting knowledge he has specialised in setting up financial and accounting systems. He is proficient in liaising with the Group’s external auditors and preparing financial accounts in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Botswana with these respective auditing firms:
He plays a key role in the administrative activities of the various Symbion offices. He is involved in the resource management of each of the offices. As well as preparing and controlling the financial budgets of the Symbion Practices, he is involved in the project planning and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed within time and resource allocation. Critical path analysis on the projects also form part of his duties.
He is also involved in the financial and administration management, property management and development finance plans for budgets and returns of the following sister companies:-
· Task Services Ltd – a property management firm.
· Graphos Design & Graphic Services Ltd – a development & management company.
· Gallivant Travels Ltd – a travel agency.
· Road House Ltd – development of a chain of hotels in E. Africa.
· Troika Development Ltd – Property Development Company.
