Design Specialist, Turner Construction Company
Sara Karim is currently a Design Specialist at the Turner Engineering Group, Turner where she collaborates on projects to solve architectural and exterior wall challenges. With experience in both design and construction, her contributions include reviewing building envelope performance and constructability as well as providing design and technical input to optimize project use, cost and efficiency.
Since joining Turner, she has worked on significant projects including the Javits Expansion Center, The Spiral – 66 Hudson boulevard, San Diego Terminal 1 Expansion and the Salk Institute Science + Technology Center.
Prior to joining Turner, Sara worked as an architectural designer in Dubai, UAE on a number of international commercial and healthcare projects.
She holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from the Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at Columbia University.
