Shane has over 35 years’ experience in Central London, leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders across many sectors. From his position of Design Director of the Shard with Sellar, through to Project Director of One Nine Elms, Shane has led the design functions, focusing on the façade design, delivery, and operation. He has developed strong professional relationships in the façade industry to realise the best design and engineering for each project alongside addressing the programme-driven requirements and the commercial ones, to deliver meaningful outcomes for these technically challenging projects. As Board Member at Henriksen Studio, Shane has worked alongside the practice to grow this London-based façade and Passivhaus engineering design consultancy.
