Shuichi Ishikawa is a Chief Architect of Nihon Sekkei which is one of the Largest architectural firms in Japan specializing for urban design, architecture design, and sustainable design. After earning a master’s degree in architecture from Kyoto University graduate school of engineering, he entered the design department of Nihon Sekkei in 2000. He has a wide variety of experiences designing from the urban-scale projects to the large-scale mixed-use developments, headquarter offices, and cultural buildings. Tianjin TEDA mixed-use project and Shanghai Pudong Library which he designed received awards. He has a broad range of overseas experiences in architectural and urban design. He is capable and eager to provide optimal and sensible design solutions for each regional projects abroad. He also designs the sustainable façade system evolved from computational technology, environment simulation, and design thinking such as sense of space, view and passive energy.
