Technical Director, Far East Façade, President, Hong Kong Façade Association
Simon is the Technical Director of Far East Façade (Hong Kong) Ltd. With over 30 years of experience in curtain wall design, he has extensive and profound knowledge in the façade industry. Throughout the years, he successfully designed and tested curtain wall systems for projects in Hong Kong, USA, and Australia.
Mr. Chan had involved in some major projects in Hong Kong and around the world. He was responsible and in charge for all design works for Burj Khalifa in Dubai, it is the world tallest building at 828 meter height with façade area of 12,500 square meters.
Mr. Chan received his Master Degree in Construction Engineering and Management (Griffith University, Australia) . He was a guest speaker in the Open University of Hong Kong for the Professional Diploma Course in Façade Engineering & Management in 2011. Mr. Chan has been elected as the President of Hong Kong Façade Association (“HKFA”) 2023-2026.
