Simon N.A.F studied Architecture in Spain and started working in international architectural practices from the beginning of his carrier. He holds a dual master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning. Since his graduation in 1999, he has worked on more than 70 projects in 15 countries. This has allowed him to extensively develop his knowledge in diverse fields of the profession, from Architecture and Master Planning to Landscape and Interior Design. He commenced his professional career with Mecanoo Architects in Holland where he was in charge of a diverse range of architectural projects and international competitions. He worked extensively on top-end luxury residential projects in the Middle East including private works for Bahrain’s Royal Family. In 2010, he relocated to Asia where completed projects include the Procter & Gamble R&D Headquarters in Singapore and Pepsi Co Headquarters in New York and India. The projects in which Simon has participated are varied in scale and complexity, ranging from a 1,300 Ha. Master Plan in Doha and top-end luxury villas in the Middle East, to hotels and parks in the Netherlands or corporate offices in Singapore, roof top clubs in Bangkok or high-rise buildings and congress centers in India. This professional path and an education with strong focus on technical subjects gives Simon a holistic vision of the construction industry and an integrative approach when creating design solutions. Currently, he is working on projects in the Indian sub-continent for Aedas, with projects ranging from large residential developments to mixed-use complexes, infrastructure, IT campuses and hospitality projects. His team was the winner in the very prestigious Pragati Maidan competition in New Delhi, India.
