Sohyun Jin graduated from Yonsei University in 2013 with a major in architecture and a minor in business. During her studies of architecture, she has had particular interests in how the fundamentals make divergence. She has learnt and developed her expertise on the automation algorithms and finding the optimized state through the parametric models. Over the course of her career in Studio Il Hoon Roh, The system lab, and DMP, she has worked on architectural projects, where she could explore the aspects of proportions, aesthetic appreciations, and good values, including Ewha Womans University kindergarten and Sejong Art Center. She joined VS-A.KR as a project manager of Ublo in 2018. Developing the products related to building façade provides Sohyun with the opportunities for further studies that she wants to pursue – integrating two different aspects of the design; aesthetic and engineering.
