Stefan has been involved with the facade industry for over 20 years, providing expertise to a broad range of clients, including Government, Industry Associations, Architects, Developers and Contractors.
Stefan has been responsible for the delivery of many complex projects, from conceptual design through to completion. He has extensive experience with the inspection and auditing of manufacturing facilities in China, South East Asia and Europe. Through his Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Building Physics background Stefan is able to assist clients with the delivery of innovative facade solutions in a changing industry environment.
Stefan was also involved in the development of energy efficiency regulation in Australia, providing strategic advice and liaison between Government and Industry.
Prior to joining BG&E Facades, Stefan was a Senior Facade specialist with Arup. He joined Arup in 2001 as a Mechanical Engineer, working with both the building services and facade group.
In 1998, Stefan commenced work with Peter Smithson & Associates (PSA). During his time at PSA, Stefan gained experience with all aspects of facade design and broadened the scope of the consultancy to include thermal design and energy efficiency.
