Senior Associate Principal, KPF
Steffen has more than 17 years of international experience in Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, China and the Philippines. Throughout his professional career, after graduating from Bauhaus University Weimar in Germany 2001, he has carried out projects in a wide range of sectors including hospitality, commercial, residential, education and mixed-use developments.
For the past 6 years Steffen has worked for KPF and delivered iconic projects with complex façades in South East Asia such as MGM Cotai Macau, Rosewood Bangkok and Singha Complex.
Presently he is working on UOB Bangkok, a new prominent high-rise office tower within the CBD. The regional headquarter, for which the façade development recently finished, will become a well into the city context integrated landmark and provide premium office spaces. Aside his current work in Thailand Steffen also plays a key role for the Benpres Redevelopment in Manila, a new high-rise corporate headquarter that emphasizes on sustainability in the heart of Ortigas.
Prior to joining KPF Steffen worked half a decade as Executive Architect in Singapore where he was involved in Resortsworld Sentosa, a 49 hectare resort comprising luxury hotels, entertainment facilities, retail and casino. During his time in Singapore he was also leading design teams for the Ngee Ann Polytechnic expansion and a new campus for the Singapore Institute of Technology.
