1984 – 1990 architectural studies at the University of Stuttgart; 1991: collaboration at Santiago Calatrava Architects in Paris and Zurich and 1992 – 1998 at RFR Engineers in Paris. 1998 – 1999 postgraduate studies «Architecture and Sustainability». Specialisation in architectural and façade design, studies in Brussels, London and Lausanne with focus on building physics and sustainability aspects of the building envelope. Thesis at the Ecole Polytechnique Federal Lausanne (EPFL) on “Double Skin Facades – a contribution to sustainability?”. Since 2000: Project Manager for national and international projects at Emmer Pfenninger Partner AG (Engineers and Specialist Consultants for Window, Curtain Walling and Cladding Technology) in Münchenstein, partner since 2002, member of board of directors in 2006. Foundation of EPP France Eurl in 2008, Member of the Board.
