Deputy Director - Safety, Structures and Fire, CSTB
Since 2007, he works at CSTB in France and leads the support of public authorities and stakeholders in the sustainable development of wooden construction sector in France through innovation. Deputy Director at the Safety, Structure and Fire Department of CSTB since 2018, his team is involved in consultancies and research programs regarding topics ranging from performance based design, fire safety engineering, smoke extraction engineering, to problem and risk of soil stabilities and subsidence, as well as vulnerability of structures to earthquake and blast. He is a member of a number of National and European Standardization Committees and the Technical Committee of ADIVBOIS.
Stéphane Hameury holds a PhD in Building Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden and a mechanical engineering degree from the French engineering school ENSAM.
