Tan Nguyen

Partner, G8A Architects

Nguyen Duy Tan is a Vietnamese architect and graduate of Hanoi Architecture University, Vietnam (2010). He joined G8A the same year and has since played a key role in all of the firm’s internationally awarded competitions. Tan became an Associate in 2017, and was named a Partner in 2023. With over a decade of professional experience, Tan brings creative expertise, in-depth knowledge of Swiss and Singaporean building environments, and strong project team management skills.

As the Vietnam Partner, Tan oversees operations at G8A’s Ho Chi Minh City office and serves as the firm’s main point of contact for local regulations and project development. He also leads the practice’s communication strategy and academic engagement. His core responsibilities include design direction, conceptual development, and project management.

Tan’s portfolio spans a wide range of building types, including large-scale residential complexes, mixed-use developments, preservation and renovation projects, as well as urban planning and master planning. Notable recent works include “Oerlikon Gem” (2023), an energy-efficient residential complex in Zurich, Switzerland, and “Heritage Canopy” (2024), a renovation of a heritage building in HCMC transformed into an international organization’s office.
