TanmayTathagat is the Executive Director of the Environmental Design Solutions [EDS], a multidisciplinary consulting firm focused on addressing the issues of sustainable development in the built environment. Tanmay uses his diverse experience to lead the process of integrated design and to find unique opportunities for cross pollination of ideas across disciplines. Tanmay is an acknowledged expert in building energy simulation, and apart from working on design projects, has provided training and assistance to architects, engineers, and facility managers all over the world. Tanmay has also been working closely with governments for developing sustainable policies for the built environment and supporting program implementation. He led the development of the Energy Conservation Building Code and the Eco-Housing programs in India. His also supported the energy efficiency building code development in California, India, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam, and has conducted training programs for building professionals globally.
