Tatiana Calvo became a building engineer in 1998, and an architect in 2008. She has always been pursuing balanced relation between presence, materiality and function. Therefore, she also pursued a Master´s degree in Facades from the ETSAM, Universidad Politécnica in Madrid, in 2017. She believes on the critical role of the envelope of a building and the conclusions of its different ways of approach – user comfort, urban balance, susceptible environment, sustainable identity, social requests, natural evolution… – should be treated through transversal hierarchies. 

With over 15 years of experience, she has experience in all sectors and scales of architecture, from residential, offices, retail, to transportation, where she specializes in façade and exterior design. Some of the last remarkable projects are: “Madrid Barajas Airport T4 refurbishment of retail”, along with Rogers stirk harbour + partners; “Santiago Bernabeu Extension Project”, along with Populous; “Spanish Building Rehabilitation Project”, along with Foster+Partners, “Four Seasons Canalejas Center”, “Amsterdam Schiphol Airport”, along with Kaan Architecten, “Torres del Río” in Málaga, “Amador de los Ríos” offices. She is passionate for sports and science, and loves to make use of wind in sailing seas as a skipper.
