Teni Ladipo

Teni Ladipo is a chartered senior façade consultant in the façade engineering group at Buro Happold in London, UK. She is experienced in the consulting engineering sector for both new and existing building construction primarily based in the UK but also with some time spent working in the US. With her background working to refurbish and improve existing facades, Teni is also part of the Diagnostic, Inspection, and Remediation (DIR) team within the façade engineering group in Buro Happold to provide these specialised services on projects. With an academic background in building science and environmental design, she has remained involved in research and publications focused on climate change resilience, high performance building, and whole life cycle assessments focused on façades. Teni is the leader of the facade sustainability technical working group in Buro Happold, in which she leads the teams effort to improve project and business wide environmental goals in response to the climate emergency. Additionally, she is one of the primary authors of new industry guidance on how to calculate embodied carbon for facades as part of her work with the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT
