As Lead Concept Design, Tim Debets bridges the gap between technical specialists and external stakeholders. With 17 years of experience in the façade industry, he is both a technically skilled designer and engineer who thrives in collaborative environments, drawing on his international background to work seamlessly across cultures.
He has managed the design of numerous high-profile projects worldwide, from conception through to installation, with a particular focus on London, Eastern Europe, and Scandinavia. Beginning his career in 2005 as a Façade Designer, he progressed to Project Design Manager and now serves as Lead Concept Design, guiding tenders and the early stages of major new projects.
From 2016 to 2018, he oversaw the façade design team for the Varso Tower in Warsaw—then the tallest building in the EU—where his leadership and coordination with contractors, architects, and consultants delivered the outstanding architectural results Scheldebouw is renowned for.
