Timothy​ Newcombe

Senior Engineer, Cundall

Tim has made a large impact on the industry in his short 4 years working in engineering consultancy. He has led the MEP design of Three Chamberlain Square, and at the same time dynamically simulated the operational energy usage. Tim graduated in 2019 with an MEng in Architecture and Environmental Engineering. The holistic building knowledge he generated has enabled the energy impact of design decisions to be championed throughout the RIBA Stages in all of his projects.

Tim has led mechanical building service design from strategic definition to completion throughout a number of sectors. He has a passion for technical excellence and sustainable development, enabling him to become a lead advocate for Cundall’s “Zero Carbon 2030” initiative in Birmingham. This leading innovation has led to Tim picking up a number of awards, such as the CIBSE WM Young Engineer of the Year and the BCO Graduate of the Year.
