Timothy Wynter-Stoner has dedicated the last ten years of his career to focusing on building facades, primarily with Consulting Associates of New York (CANY). His primary focus has been on realizing the Architect’s design intent while satisfying the stringencies of the design and construction process. This entails respecting matters of sequence and constructability, while addressing air and water infiltration concerns and satisfying energy performance criteria.
Tim currently heads the New Construction studio at CANY, where the team consults on projects from Schematic Design through to Construction Administration. The team’s goals are to assist in developing the design into an effectively performing building during the design phases and then ensuring that the building is built as designed during construction.
He received a bachelor’s and diploma in architecture from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom and practiced as a registered architect there, before moving to New York in 1986.
