Principal, SPPARC Architecture
Taking an unconventional route into architecture, Trevor Morriss designed his first building when he was just 17 years old, while working at the John Brunton Partnership. Today, Trevor is the Principal of SPPARC, the award-winning architecture and design studio he founded in London in 2007. He has lectured extensively and is a Board Trustee at the Architectural Association.
SPPARC is renowned for its diverse portfolio and has won plaudits for its exceptional regeneration and retrofit of culturally significant schemes in particular, including the co-design of the £1.3bn redevelopment of Olympia London which provides over 500,000 sq ft of creative workspace (including the largest single footprint in west London) and the 2023 RIBA Award-winning Borough Yards.
Recently completed schemes include Southworks, which was named ‘The World’s Smartest Building’ at the Futureproof Awards and was the first building in the UK to achieve the Smart Building Certification Platinum title, and Greycoat Stores, a flagship commercial development in Westminster comprising seven floors of premium workspace, retail, F&B and leisure facilities.
