Ulf Gatzke-Yu has been working as a design architect and project manager in the Planning and Competitions section of our Frankfurt office since 1999. From 2018 to 2022 he was the leader of his own planning and design team, and since April 2022 Ulf Gatzke-Yu has been a member of the management team at KSP Engel’s Frankfurt office as an authorized signatory and director. In his work, he focuses in particular on technically innovative buildings and high-rises, including the 110-meter-high WINX Tower and the 205-meter-high Helaba Tower (Central Business Tower), both in Frankfurt. Particularly close to his heart is the WestendDuo high-rise in Frankfurt, completed back in 2006, which won the special sustainability prize at the International Highrise Award in 2008. As project manager, he played a leading role there from the design to the implementation planning. He studied at Technische Universität Darmstadt with a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
