Associate, Hosoya Schaefer Architects
Valentin Ott is Head of Design at Hosoya Scheafer Architects in Zurich and part of the management team. He studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and has worked in various architectural offices, such as Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, Blocher Partners in Stuttgart and since 2016 at Hosoya Scheafer Architects in Zurich. In his role as design director at Hosoya Scheafer Architects, he worked on many different architectural and urban design projects. In addition to his work at Hosoya Schaefer Architects, he taught as a guest lecturer at the University of Stuttgart and is a co-founder of FEAT.collective. With FEAT.collective, he realised the Lanka Leaning Center in Sri Lanka, which won the RIBA international Award in 2017 and was shortlisted for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2022.
