Co-Founder, Architecture Dialogue
Vikram Desai is the co-founder of Architecture Dialogue, since its inception, the young practice has carved out a national identity through its work across diverse building typologies and scales—each project marked by innovation, creativity, and a strong theoretical foundation.
Before establishing Architecture Dialogue, Vikram served as Principal Architect at CnT Architects, working closely with Prem Chandavarkar. His time at CnT laid the foundation for his philosophical and professional approach to architectural practice. It was there that Vikram honed his ability to understand client needs, translate them into distinctive design outcomes, and rigorously oversee the process of bringing those visions to life.
One of his significant contributions during this time was the design of the Mindtree main campus in Kalinga, developed in close collaboration with Subroto Bagchi. Vikram has led the design of numerous projects that have garnered both national and international recognition.
At Architecture Dialogue, Vikram brings a pragmatic, efficient, and creative approach to design. He is committed to working closely with clients to deliver architecture that balances design excellence, economic value, and social impact. His empathetic, personable, and collaborative nature has earned him a strong reputation for leading complex projects and fostering enduring relationships—with both clients and the communities they serve.
