Yosuke Takahashi

Principal, Mitsubishi Jisho Design

Yosuke Takahashi is the principal architect at Mitsubishi Jisho Design Shanghai. He joined Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc. in 2001 after graduated from Yokohama National University. After being involved in the design of the “Marunouchi” development project, he began working on overseas projects from 2010, becoming the General Manager of the Overseas Project Office in 2014, and the General Manager of Mitsubishi Jisho Design (Shanghai) Co. in 2019. As the principal architect of Shanghai office, he continues to be involved in projects in China.

He participated as the design architect of the landmark project of Marunouchi Building in early 2000’s. His task for the project in not limited to the design of the building itself but extended to the urban development of the surrounding area. Some of his other notable Japanese projects includes Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation Head Office Building. As the principal design architect for oversea projects, he involved in Chongqing Fude Jiefangbei Project in China, Trinity Tower in Jakarta, and large-scale developments of ANT Group Headquarter in Hangzhou. He also is an experienced in master planner and involved in various projects, such as Suzhou North Station TOD Development, Hangzhou Qianjiang Project Phase II, and Underground Space Development of Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base.
