Malene Hjortsø Kyndesen

Malene Hjortsø Kyndesen has been employed at Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects since 2002 and was appointed partner in 2020. She is engaged in architecture’s role in a larg- er global perspective and her curiosity drives the development processes of the projects she is heading to great results. She has gained valuable experience from both master planning projects as well as high profiled education and cultural projects. She has a solid experience within the development of projects in early design stages. Concurrently she is experienced as lead architect showing her ability to create strong visions and maintain- ing the ideas all the way through to completed projects. These competencies have led to several successful projects of high architectural quality like Kalvebod Fælled School and residences at Tuborg Salt Meadow in Denmark and Niaga Malmö Högskola in Sweden. Malene is a strong communicator with the ability to maintain overview, persistence and the ability to support teamwork. Her gift for motivating and creating consensus makes her an extraordinarily competent creative leader with a strong ability to seeing her proj- ects through.
