Associate Director, Arup
Mikkel K. Kragh is Associate Director at ARUP in Copenhagen, where he leads Building Design & Advisory. Mikkel has returned to ARUP after having served as Head of Department, Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University, Denmark. During his international career, he has had a series of different roles as a specialist and worked in research and development, specialist consulting and specialty manufacturing. For a number of years, he served as Chairman of the Society of Facade Engineering, championing the relatively new discipline globally. Having collaborated with internationally leading practitioners and academics throughout his career, Mikkel has unique insight into ‘high performance’ building and building design as well as the significance of specialist advice and input in building, now and in the future.
