With 10 years’ experience in the Façade industry, Kathryn has worked across an extensive range of projects, from concept to construction, focusing on the areas of façade design and technical detailing. She has been involved in the management and facade design of several high-rise commercial and residential projects across Melbourne, as well as large-scale health, education and stadium projects.
With an architectural background, Kathryn is particularly suited to communicating with the architect and design team to advise on buildability and construction details, ensuring the end design aesthetic is met, including consideration around high-performance glass specification and prototyping. Kathryn’s expertise is in methods of production for high-rise façades that meet technical, sustainability and thermal performance requirements, while also considering geometry intent. Her experience with complex geometries, in both glass and cladding systems, has seen her knowledge on the fabrication realities of different façade systems expand to consider the intricacies of how the details come together and how they will be installed and built, which assists in a high-quality built outcome.
