Director, Ingenhoven Architects
Matej Ferenc is a Director at ingenhoven associates. Before joining the Stuttgart railway station project, he had already gained valuable professional experience in architecture and urban planning abroad. For more than ten years, he has since been involved in this landmark development—beginning as an architect and later taking on overall project leadership.
He studied architecture and urban planning at the Brno University of Technology and gained international experience abroad before completing his master’s degree. With a strong focus on medium- and large-scale projects, he first contributed to the Stuttgart railway station team under the guidance of Michael Rathgeb, before ultimately taking over full responsibility for the project.
His portfolio goes beyond major public transport infrastructure to include retail, office, and residential developments, realized both in historically sensitive contexts and in newly planned urban environments.
