Managing Director, Ingenhoven Architects

As Managing Director at ingenhoven architects, Michael Rathgeb is primarily responsible for complex large-scale projects. After studying architecture at the University of Innsbruck and gaining professional experience with projects of various sizes in Innsbruck, Munich and Quatar, the Tyrol native joined ingenhoven associates as Project Director in 2007. Since 2012, he has been Director responsible for Stuttgart Central Station. In 2018, he became Managing Director.

In addition to specializing in large infrastructure projects (local and long-distance public transport), Michael Rathgeb has extensive experience in the field of office and administrative buildings. Due to the projects, he is currently overseeing, including Stuttgart Central Station, Uniq Towers, and Freiburg City Hall, his work is recently focused on Germany. Previously, Michael Rathgeb worked on other major projects for the firm, such as the HDI HQ in Hanover, Calwer Passage and many other international projects, including University College Dublin, Google HQ in Palo Alto, and Marina One in Singapore.
