Victor Barbosa leads digital innovation and technology at Schmidt Hammer Lassen. Victor works with a global team of software developers, UX designers, and design technologists to deliver more sustainable and efficient buildings.
Educated as a civil engineer in Brazil, Victor transitioned to architectural engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Victor develops tools and systems that scale across studios and practices, improving project efficiency and integrating environmental performance.
Though deeply technical, Victor approaches digitalization through a human lens, ensuring that digital tools complement and enhance design. Victor has extensive experience with distributed cloud systems and simulation engines applied to building information models, and frequently contributes to the AEC technology community through open-source work and by teaching at conferences and academic events.
