Associate Director, WilkinsonEyre
René is an Associate Director at WilkinsonEyre in London. He leads the design and delivery of landmark high-rise and hospitality projects for internationally renowned clients, including Crown Resorts, Galaxy and Cipriani. His work on the award-winning One Barangaroo development in Sydney, completed in 2020, contributed to the realisation of Australia’s tallest residential and hospitality tower and provided him with extensive experience in the delivery of world-class hospitality architecture.
With an engineering background, he brings a rigorous technical approach to architecture, specialising in complex geometries, structural integration and bespoke detailing. He is particularly passionate about place making and the translation of ambitious concepts into elegant, buildable solutions.
A key contributor to research and innovation within the practice, he champions the adoption of advanced digital workflows, parametric design methodologies and fabrication technologies, driving the exploration of new materials and innovative approaches to design excellence.
